Acid-free self-adhesive white paper tape for hinging art on medium weight paper into mounts
Use to make T Hinges for art on medium weight papers. Burnish it into place for best adhesion. 50gsm paper has semi-matt surface and a tear resistance of 45N/mm².
Pressure-sensitive polyacrylate dispersion adhesive which is solvent, acid and phthalate-free. Non-yellowing and buffered with CaCO3 to pH 8.5 which helps minimise the risk of damage or decay.
Initial adhesive strength of 4.3 N/25mm which makes it initially removable and repositionable. Over 24 hours it gradually becomes permanent.
Ageing resistance is certified by the Papiertechnische Stiftung at the Munich branch (PBA-No. 21.495/1). PAT tested to ISO 18916 so it is safe with old style photos.
P90 can often be removed from firm paper surfaces with careful use of water.
